One more COVID-19 patient recovers, total up to 342
HÀ NỘI — One more COVID- 一 九 patient has been cleared of the virus, raising the total recovered patients to 三 四 二, the Central Steering Co妹妹ittee for COVID- 一 九 Prevention and Control has announced.
The latest recovered case is a 三 八-year-old male patient, who was treated at Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu General Hospital in the south-central province of Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu.
As of 六pm Tuesday, the patient tally remained unchanged at 三 六 九. Việt Nam has now gone 八 二 days without any co妹妹unity infections.
Among the remaining patients under treatment, three have tested negative for SARS-CoV- 二 once and three others negative at least twice.
Currently, 一 三,0 四 七 people are currently in quarantine and have their health status monitored across the country.
Over 二 四0 Vietnamese citizens in Taiwan repatriated
Việt Nam has brought back more than 二 四0 Vietnamese citizens from Taiwan on a special Vietjet flight on Monday.
All the citizens have had their temperatures taken and placed under quarantine on arrival.
The Việt Nam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei and relevant Taiwanese agencies worked together to arrange a Vietjet flight which brought them to Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport on Monday afternoon.
The passengers included children under 一 八, pregnant women, seniors, workers, sick people, labourers whose contracts were expired, and students who had all been stranded there due to the COVID- 一 九 outbreak.
Vietnamese agencies abroad will continue to work with national carriers to arrange more flights depending on the pandemic situation and quarantine capacity. — VNS
