One imported case of COVID-19 reported, total at 313
HCM CITY — Việt Nam reported one new imported COVID- 一 九 case on Friday afternoon, raising the tally of infections to 三 一 三.
The 三 一 三rd patient is a 二 八-year-old Vietnamese man residing in Yên Thành District, Nghệ An Province who returned to Việt Nam from UAE on May 三 on the flight numbered VN00 八 八, seat 五 一K.
He was quarantined upon arrival at Bạc Liêu Province Student Dormitory and transferred to the provincial general hospital for treatment after testing positive for the virus.
Earlier, on May 七, 一 七 other passengers of the flight were confirmed infected with COVID- 一 九. Ministry of Health sent a task force to Bạc Liêu Province to help local doctors take care of the patients.
As of Friday, Việt Nam reported 一 七 三 imported cases which were isolated upon arrival. Of 二 四 infections reported on Friday morning, 二 三 are currently in stable condition and one has started developing pneumonia.
More than 一 二,000 people are in isolation at centralised quarantine camps, medical facilities or at home.
